The first person you have contact with at our office is Greg, our front office manager. In addition to helping you get into the office and start your journey, Greg is a patient himself.

Greg knew Dr. Simpson when he worked in the operating room at the hospital. He had seen Dr. Simpson do a number of LAP-BANDS, and Dr. Simpson saw the great job that Greg did managing the operating room. When Dr. Simpson needed someone to manage his front office the first person he thought of was Greg.

"I had worked with Greg for years at the hospital. He was great -- always willing to help out. When our front office position came open, he was the first person I thought of." Dr. Simpson said.

But what Dr. Simpson didn't know was that Greg needed some help. Greg had high blood pressure, adult onset diabetes, high cholesterol, and sleep apnea.

"I hated going to the doctor," Greg said, "Because everytime I went the found something wrong with me, and another pill to take."

Even though Greg didn't qualify for his insurance to get the band, he decided this was something he would need to get back some of his vigor. Greg decided to get the band.
